There was live music, event photographers, wine and hors d’oeuvres, stylists giving complimentary and customized color consultations, swag bags, and a live runway show.

The inspiration of the models looks was taken right off the runway. Such as; the Chanel Pre Fall 2012 show and Alexander Mc Queen’s 2009 collection show. Can you recognize the inspiration for the other looks?

Who would’ve thought that Italian brand Missoni would be pairing up with Brazilian brand Havaianas for it’s own capsule collection of sandals.

The sandal/Flip-flop will have multicolored printed zigzags and the strap will be available in purple or black adorned with jewel-style charms.

The Asian Art Museum of San Francisco is one of the largest museums in the Western world devoted exclusively to Asian Art, with a collection of over 17,000 artworks spanning 6,000 years of history. The museum is a public institution whose mission is to lead a diverse global audience in discovering the unique material, aesthetic, and intellectual achievements of Asian art and culture.

Normally $12, the museum is open free for the first Sunday of each month thanks to Target.

We will be doing a casting call and the fitting on the same day.

The 3rd Annual Black V Fashion Show brought eight of the top emerging Bay Area designers to Landmark building for an intimate gathering of fashion for a cause.The Proceeds of the show were donated to the City College of San Francisco’s fashion department. The show began with with Acta Non Verba designer Hector Manuel, who had a beautifully created a one-shoulder striped black and gold lurex dress for the violinist.

GB Shrive took denim on denim to the next level with with jodhpur jumpsuits and pants, exotic leather prints and reptile graphic prints.The closing piece was one of the shows highlights showcasing the designers art of working with leather.
